Elizabeth founded Kids Fit Fest born from an avid love for fitness.  Her mother started one of the very first companies to offer aerobics classes for women in the very early 1980's in Northern New Jersey.  Elizabeth loved taking her moms classes, watching how much she loved fitness and how it made her feel.

Elizabeth has chosen a path of sports and fitness all of her life. Having played soccer, softball and a cheerleader throughout HIgh School, Elizabeth kept up the activity during college going to the local gym.

After college and married with two children later, Elizabeth discovered the sport of triathlon. Having completed over 15 triathlons with one being a Half Ironman the sport has definitely found a place in her heart.

Then there was bootcamp.  Elizabeth took part in a bootcamp as a participant over two years ago, she absolutely fell in love with it and its accountability and surprise workouts each day.  She has been a participant and now an instructor and is excited to bring the Kids Fit Fest concept to Atlanta.

Elizabeth realized the need for kids and activity recently when reading a study posted by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). She was shocked by the statistics:

Currently over 17% of all children are considered overweight or obese.

According to the CDC overweight children are more likely to have risk factors associated with:

• High Blood Pressure
• High Cholesterol
• Type 2 Diabestes

She wanted to do something about it and Kids Fit Fest was created!

What We Believe

We at KidsFit Fest believe that every child wants to have fun, and every parent wants their child to be happy and healthy. That is why Kids Fit Fest was created. We all know that soccer, baseball, and football can do it, but what if your child isn't old enough or interested enough or just needs an avenue to get out that energy. Kids Fit Fest is the answer!
